Privacy policy
This page explains what westcoastsafaris.co.za collects when you use it, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect little.
Who we are
West Coast Safaris Pty Ltd, trading as West Coast Safaris, with a booking office at the West Coast Padstal (Weskus Padstal), Corner of the R27 and the R315, Yzerfontein, 7351. You can reach us at info@westcoastsafaris.co.za or 066 525 1994.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and message you type. They are emailed to our booking office and kept in this website’s administration area so that a lost email never loses your enquiry.
When you sign up for news, we keep your name and email address in the same place and use them only to send you occasional news about the reserve. Every email we send tells you how to stop them; you can also just ask us.
When you book, you do so on ActivityBridge, Nightsbridge or an operator’s own site. Those bookings, and the payment details for them, are handled under their privacy policies, not ours.
The forms also record a one-way hash of your internet address for an hour, to limit how many messages one connection can send. It cannot be turned back into the address.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising. It currently runs no analytics. Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and the booking sites take you to those services, which have their own policies.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@westcoastsafaris.co.za and we will do so. We do not sell or share your details with anyone, other than the operator you ask us to pass an enquiry to.
